Buchi K-365 MultiKjel Plastic DI 11K36531020
K-365 MultiKjel Plastic DI is a MultiKjel configuration of the BUCHI K-365 Kjeldahl/distillation system designed for steam distillation and Kjeldahl nitrogen analysis. The instrument provides adjustable steam power, automatic detection of distillation start and end points, and an intuitive touch-screen color display for controlling distillation workflows. Typical applications include total Kjeldahl nitrogen (TKN), protein determination, ammonia, TVBN and other steam-distillable analytes in food, feed and environmental testing.
Key Features:
- Configuration: MultiKjel distillation unit with Plastic splash protector and Dosing Inlet (DI)
- Adjustable steam power: 10–100% with programmable steam gradient
- User interface: Color touch-screen display
- Automation features: AutoDist function and automatic start/stop distillation detection
- Alkalization and dosing: NaOH pump and water dilution pump; boric acid dosing available
- Resource optimization: Optimized alkalization can save up to 30% NaOH reagent
Advantages:
- Flexible automation for a wide range of Kjeldahl and steam-distillation applications through MultiKjel configuration
- Improved accuracy and reproducibility via automatic distillation start/stop detection and AutoDist
- Reduced operator exposure and simplified workflows thanks to dosing inlet, optimized alkalization and touch-screen control
