Ultraseal™ Pierce Seal Foil PS - Sterile Sheet is a heat-sealing foil designed to produce a strong, pierceable seal for polystyrene microplates while remaining compatible with polypropylene. It provides moderate solvent resistance (including DMSO), is sterile, and is suitable for low temperature compound storage, PCR shipping and short-term room temperature storage. Seals can be pierced manually or by liquid handling robots and resealed by overlaying another foil sheet.

- Temperature range (seal integrity): -20°C to 110°C
- Recommended sealing: 175°C for 2 seconds

Advantages:
- Produces a strong heat seal to polystyrene plates while remaining compatible with polypropylene, ensuring complete seal integrity for compound storage and PCR shipping.
- Pierceable design allows access by pipette tips or liquid handling robots without full removal of the seal; resealing is possible by overlaying another sheet.
- Moderate solvent resistance (including DMSO) supports storage of compounds in organic solvents and low-temperature storage applications.
